Key Updates:

  • Legislative session begins on January 3rd, 2018

  • Below is a list of all bills pre-filed thus far that we are tracking on behalf of MASCA; however, these bills cannot be referred to committee or advance until session begins in January

  • Sen. Dave Schatz (R-Sullivan) introduced SB 763, an act relating to workers compensation claims that would have a significant impact on ASCs. We are working with the Missouri State Medical Association and other physician groups to identify the best approach in trying to defeat this legislation. It’s unclear at this point what prompted the Senator to file the legislation, but we will report back with updates as we continue our conversations with stakeholders and legislators.
